Editing out “ums,” stammering, long or awkward silence, heavy breaths, smacking, background noise, “you know,” and other crutch phrases. We go through every second of audio and pull out as many of these phrases as possible. In some instances an um is blended in with another word so much that it’s not possible to remove it. In other instances it is best to keep a stutter in so that there is context. That is, to remove it would cause a sentence fragment or a sentence to seemingly come from nowhere. Our goal is to create a polished, smooth flowing conversation and listeners will not be able to tell that any edits have been made.

We will consult with you to help you narrow down your podcast topic, identify your audience, and outline your show structure. We will also consult with you to help you choose the best equipment for your budget, podcast style, and physical space. You’ll get artwork designed by one of our graphic artists and a podcast intro and outro recorded by one of our professional voiceover artists (you’ll get to choose the voice). The intro and outro will also include a music bed in the style of music of your choice. We will also configure your website with the PowerPress or Smart Podcast Player plug-in, configure Libsyn or Blubrry hosting, design a podcast page on your website, submit your podcast to iTunes and Stitcher, and set up subscription links on your website.
